How the online assessment works

Guides

From choosing a treatment to pressing submit: what the online assessment asks, how long it takes and what happens to your answers.

Every treatment on Meds To You starts with a short online assessment. This guide explains what to expect so there are no surprises.

Choosing a treatment

Browse the treatment categories or search for the product you have in mind. Each treatment page explains the service and shows the price. When you are ready, choose Start assessment. You will be asked to sign in or create an account first, because your answers are saved to your account as you go.

What the assessment asks

The questions are the kind a GP surgery asks on an intake form: your date of birth, height and weight, the medicines you currently take, any allergies, existing conditions and whether you have used this treatment before. Some questions only appear depending on your earlier answers, so the form stays as short as it can.

You can leave and come back at any time. Your progress is saved after every step and you will pick up where you left off.

Before you submit

The review page shows all of your answers in one place with an Edit link next to each section. Check everything carefully. Once you submit, your answers are locked so that the prescriber reviews exactly what you sent.

What happens next

A UK-registered prescriber reviews your assessment. You can see its status from My Assessments in your account and we email you when there is an update. Read what happens after your assessment is approved for the next steps.
