How repeat treatments work

Guides

Returning for another course? Your general details are remembered and only the treatment-specific questions are asked again.

If you have completed a treatment with us before, requesting it again is quicker. This guide explains what changes on a repeat request and what stays the same.

One account, all of your treatments

You never need to register twice. Every treatment you request is recorded separately in My Assessments, so your history is kept in order even if you use several treatments over time.

Answers carried over

Some of your general answers, such as your date of birth and known allergies, are carried over from your most recent assessment. They are shown to you again so you can confirm they are still correct or change them. The treatment-specific questions are asked afresh.

Every request is reviewed

A repeat request is still a new assessment. A prescriber reviews it before anything is dispensed, exactly as with a first request, and can ask for more information if needed.

Follow-up checks

For some treatments, the prescriber may set a follow-up check before a further course can be requested. If a follow-up is due, it will appear in your account with a short set of questions to complete. The treatment page tells you whether a follow-up applies before you start.
